Dave was one of the founding members of Ritual Master (Blackened Doom metal from Montreal, Canada) As a drummer, his style leans towards bands such as Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Electric Wizard, Conan and many more alike; utilizing as many pulse pounding Doom grooves as possible. With his interests in all the subject matter that goes into the doom metal genre gave him a genuine affinity for old school horror movies and dark literature. The stories and poems of H.P. Lovecraft always heavily influenced his style as the main lyricist of the band.
